Jimmy Turns 6

The love of my life turns 6 today.   

I am overwhelmed at the beautiful story God is telling

 through the life and love of Sekiranda Jimmy. 

The day I met Jimmy...

Oh yes, you shaped Jimmy first inside, then out;

you formed him in his mother's womb.

I thank you, High God - you're breathtaking!

Body and soul, Jimmy is marvelously made!

I worship in adoration - what a creation!

You know Jimmy inside and out, 

you know every bone in his body;

You know exactly how he was made, bit by bit, 

how he was sculpted from nothing into something.

Like an open book, you watched Jimmy grow from conception to birth;

all the stages of his life were spread out before you,

The days of Jimmy's life all prepared before he'd even lived one day.

Today was Drama & Dance Day at Irma Phifer Secondary School.  

I love seeing our kids perform! #SozoGotTalent

I can't think of two more amazing guys to spend my time with here in Uganda...

 Introduced Jjaja to one of my favorite foods today... almonds!  

Turns out, she loves them - so I gave her my whole stash.  #TrueLove

In case you've wondered, this is inside Jjajja's home.  

Because she has to crawl to get anywhere, thieves have stolen almost everything she owns 

(including her mattress).  

We are fixing a new lock on her door (one that is lower to the ground so she can reach it) to try to help.  I love this woman.

Family Day

Our beautiful Sozo Family spent the day at the pool today!  

I am so proud of our kids that were baptized today! 

What amazing young men and women we have in our Sozo Family. 

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, 

baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 

teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.  

And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
